SITE PREPARATION AND EXCAVATION WITH LASER-LIKE PRECISION
In 2015 Winnipeg hosted the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada. In preparation for this celebrated event the Winnipeg Soccer Federation needed to construct two new artificial turf pitches. FIFA requires a 0.5-degree slope across the 84,000 sq. ft. pitch with 5 mm of accuracy. With Chabot as prime contractor, the excavation and field preparations were completed to the client’s satisfaction, on-time to host the 2015 Women's World Cup Canada and satisfying the precision requirements of FIFA.
